There is talk of deceleration, crisis, economic slump...the fact is
consumers and businesses are showing a certain disenchantment
and that, economically, things are the same as a year ago.
But
this feeling is not noted in the tourism sector, which according to
the latest figures and occupation levels on the Costa del Sol, has
registered a slight increase or maintains the same levels.
This brings us to think that at least one of the pillars of our local
economy is steady and this encourages us to search for new ways
of promoting our tourist industry and offering products and events
that combine quality and competitive prices.

June and July are months in which the Town Halls and private
enterprise put their cultural initiatives into operation, and this trend
will increase over the coming months. We highlight the local Fair
of Marbella from the 9th to the 15th June, and in Estepona during
the first week of July, and the 1st International Jazz Festival of the
Costa del Sol.
I hope this magazine will give you a panoramic oversight of all the
opportunities for making the most of this sunny part of Spain.
